Online Lecture: Wild Waters of Callander with Calum Maclean

Loading Events
On Wednesday 14th October at 7.30pm, join us for a online talk from Calum Maclean, made possible thanks to funding from Bòrd na Gàidhlig. Calum is a film-maker, TV Presenter and avid outdoor swimmer. His talk will take us on an exploration of some well-known swimming locations (and some hidden gems) around Callander, Gaelic tales of the land and the appeal of outdoor swimming. That is if he survives the Loch Venachar kelpie…

From swimming under the ice in Cairngorms, to enduring being eaten alive by midges, Calum showcases Scotland’s outdoors in his own unique style. His short films for BBC The Social have racked up millions of views and led to his own BBC ALBA series Dhan Uisge. Calum is an ambassador for the Outdoor Swimming Society.
