The Sky Above Us

The Sky Above Us is back! You may remember that last year we had to cancel our weekend of astronomical discovery at the start of the pandemic. We are pleased to announce that this March we will be running some astronomical events for all ages. Over the weekend you can delve into cosmic Scots poetry, stargaze with astronomers, pit your wits in our family quiz, search for alien life and get hands on with some cosmic experiments. The events will be held online or self led, but fear not there is plenty of fun to be had!  All activities will be free of charge thanks to funding from the Institute of Physics Scotland. The programme is highlighted below, but make sure to visit the individual event pages for more information and booking.

Friday 19th March

Oor Big Braw Cosmos with Rab Wilson at 7.30pm.

Thanks to funding from the Institute of Physics Scotland, all of the events are free.
