Callander’s Landscape SCIO (Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation) was set up in November 2018 to assist Callander’s Landscape in meeting its objectives.

The SCIO’s four organisational Trustees currently consist of Callander Community Development Trust, Stirling Council, Scottish Natural Heritage and Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. Elected office bearers are representatives from these organisations.

The SCIO’s stated purposes are:

1) To advance the community development, the physical improvement of and regeneration of Callander and the areas surrounding Callander for the benefit of the public;

2) To protect, conserve, improve and promote the sustainable use of the natural environment and wildlife habitats in and around Callander with a view to where possible, encouraging and facilitating greater public access whilst respecting the natural balance and beauty of these areas; and

3) The promotion of the heritage, archaeological remains, history and culture of Callander and the surrounding areas for the benefit of the public.
